Hello all, I'm new to this group, as I very recently purchased a 1947 cedar-sided U-22. The boat is a true barn-find, very original but unused in over 30 years. It's currently blocked up with no storage cradle. I'm planning to eventually have a trailer made for the boat, but in the meantime I need to come up with a storage cradle/dolly for use as I restore/refinish her. I would like to have it on castors of some sort so I can roll it around the shop. I do not expect, at this point, to flip this boat over to do the bottom.
Does anyone have any drawings/dimensions for such a storage cradle? Any other ideas or suggestions would be appreciated as well.
Thanks,
MAH

Re: U-22 Storage Cradle
I have prints for the 1969 model year. This was obtained from the Mariners Museum.

Re: U-22 Storage Cradle
Thanks for your reply....I presume that the 1969 date is a typo and you meant 1949....does anyone know if these drawings are available now or do I have to wait for the Mariners Museum Chris Craft archive to reopen? Thanks
