2009 Oak Orchard Harbour Fest

Hi all, just a note to tell everyone in central NY about a very nice up-start classic/antique boat show.
this show has been going on for several years now but needs an infusion from the ACBS as far as i'm concerned. This harbor fest takes place in Oak orchard creek at Point Breeze NY. every year and has a very nice land based as well as in-the-water boat show. There's the usual festival fare as well as booths offering crafts and other hand made items. the best part is the antique and classic boats that show up there. They have a boat parade on saturday, this year it's 8/15 where you get to see some of the local talent, one of which will be my boat! The festivities start on 8/15 about 10:00 and continue till dark and then start up again on Sunday until about 4:00. If you're near there, they could really use more of us, just show up with or without your boat but just come. Let's show them that we're out there and willing to promote antique/classic boating.
