Is there a trick to getting the hidem welt to lay flat when fitting the curves at the corners? I am having some difficulty getting it not to bunch up.

Re: Hidem Install
Hidem, is best installed when warm and the trick is to pull the hidem rather than lay it in corners . Since the inside curve is smaller than the outer you must pull the hidem a bit to compensate for the gather at inside edge.
Also put two rows of staples inside at corners pushing the welt cords apart, not too much as to leave a gap. If using tacks put one forward one back in zig zag at corners.
Also the wrinkles will diminish after some exposure to sun . Make the widest turn you can .
