Hi Boaters,
Please help me identify why my C-C has double engine hatch doors instead of a single door that swings aft(typical of a '56). Literature for the year shows a single door. The doors seem to be original and fit the opening perfectly. My hull number is CP-21-119 out of 170 (Conrad). The equipment record does not indicate a deviation. Could this actually be a special build? Doors left over from Pre-War? Customer request? An anomaly? All reply's appreciated!!

Re: 1956 21' Capri mystery
From snooping through other posts it seems my boat was in production in 1955 same as autos. But the double hatch build is still a mystery. Might have been a build option...

What kind of engine did it originally have?
