Quick question for the experts here: I am trying to figure out what size covered hoist I need, so I’m looking for confirmation of the weight (with a full fuel tank) and the width of my ‘36 Runabout so that I order the right one. While I will put the cover on her while she’s on the the covered hoist, I’m planning on getting the extended curtains so that I can crank her up under the canopy while she’s not in use to avoid any unnecessary sun/wind/rain up here in the North Woods. Is there anything else that I should be considering in terms of guide posts, bow stop, etc?
We’re on a seepage lake where fixed piers and slips are not allowed, so covered hoists are the best solution here. We’re going with Pier Pleasure as that’s our current set up with our 2014 Moomba LSV ski boat, but I’d be interested to hear anyone’s general thoughts and experiences with using a hoist for their CC’s. Thanks for any thoughts on this topic, and here is a shot of our current set up:

Based on feedback and suggestions from a few different sources (including the CCABC FB page), I ended up going with the Pier Pleasure hoist to match my existing set up, opting for the 4,000lbs lift just to be safe and in case I upgrade to a bigger Runabout some day . Can’t wait to get Lake Girl on the water in the Spring with our new set up

Closing out this thread, here are a few pics of the set up that we ended up with to accommodate both Lake Girl as well as our ski boat. I opted for the extended canopy to keep her out of harm’s way when we’re not up here and we crank both boats up when we leave (I dropped them both down just for these pics). We’ve had an absolute BLAST with this beautiful new addition to our family, and we’re squeezing every last day out of our woefully short summer this year to enjoy what we can before the snow starts flying up here in Northern Wisconsin

Thanks Jim, I wish I could get back up there this weekend but we just got back from 10 days in Eagle River and sadly I've had to return to reality and be at work here in Chicago . We're back up for Labor Day, though, so boating season isn't over yet!
PS - Pine Isle is under new ownership and they've massively upped their game... It's actually our favorite lunch stop on our snowmobile run down to Three Lakes from Eagle River, but I never knew they did this Vintage Boat Rendezvous. I'll have to put it on our calendar for next year!
