Members, the Shut-Down is Done!
Well, the IT Team and Bill Basler got started earlier this afternoon and are already complete with the entire relocation process. Congratulations to them!
If any of you run into a snag while using the Website be sure to notify the IT Team at [email protected]
As many of you know, the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club is going through a process of reorganization. Bill Basler has stepped down from managing the Club. A new Board of Directors is in place, which, combined with a new administrative structure, is leading The Club into a much improved future. We are making good time in this effort, but it is taking considerable time to fully accomplish. Look for regular progress reports as we move forward in this effort.
We are now in the process of relocating all online assets from Cedar Rapids (our former headquarters) to a new server. Part of this process calls for some downtime. The Website and all its features will be interrupted on Friday evening, April 27, 2012 for this transition. The procedure is complex and may cause the Website to be down for a full day or longer. Unforeseen snags may possibly extend the outage beyond the weekend.
We apologize for this inconvenience and interruption of your on-line benefits. It is one of many necessary steps the new Board of Directors must take to provide oversight and financial stability to Club operations.
