283 fly wheel forward port motor firing order HELP!!!!!!!

hello help needed i have a 283 fly wheel forward motor. the port motor too be exacte i have put new heads on it three times in the last year and with in 3 hour it cracks the head between the center cyl. what is the firing order on it first ? where is the # 1 cyl. ??? is there a differance in the fly...

i have called them in the last two months two times and both times i call at the time they open and got right through . and both times got what i was looking for faster than if i faxed it ! maybe try that it works for me, never had to leave a message

i have a old trailer that i was told it was from early 40s or earler that i got with my 1938 or 39 runabout . i say that because on the hull card it says in was delivered in jan. of 1939 so it had to be built in 1938 . but i am out of town for a month or so and can't get any pictures of it right now...

i just got my table of offsets from mariners and i am trying to make sense of it ! so i can check all the mensurments.

hello paul i have a 30' constallation with 283 fly wheel forward motors . where can i find the impellers for the older style pumps you talked about also the cams and thermostats for these.one pump has the fin type impellers the other has the round type impellers. any help would be great !!!!!!! than...

hello in the chris craft essential guide it shows there were 29 1953 52'ers built hull # cc-52-001 to cc-52-029 in 1954 through 1955 there were 26 hulls built that were called 53'ers hull #s c-53-001 to c-53-026 hope this helps niether shows with hard top you will have to get hull card for the optio...

thanks al they are both petit, clear sealer ,and petit bark v spar varnish i thought i would let the last coat of sealant dry and extra 8 to 10 houres before i sand then start the varnish.

hello I am in the process of restaining ,sealing,
varnishing the transom on my 30' conie. Got it sanded down and stained. Is there anything i need to do to the stain before i start puting the sealer on ?
please any help is greatly appreciated
