Aluminum Hull Corrosion Repair?
I have a 1962 Aluminum CC Roamer Silver Comet that has some corrosion on the hull. I have 2 questions. 1) What kind, or Brand of primer should I apply to the bare aluminum inside the hull to prevent corrosion, and on the outside prior to painting? 2) is there a 'Bondo' type of filler that I can appl...

Well I pulled the engines out of my silver comet. Two cylinders on each engine are full of corrosion. I took them to a local engine rebuilder and he said not to waste my time find some new blocks. So I'm at a crossroad, try to find a pair of 283's that I can rebuild or repower with 350s. One problem...

So, I got my 1962 Chris Craft Roamer Silver Comet on a trailer so I can begin the restoration. I noticed about 15-20 paint blisters on the hull below the water line and a few around the struts. After scraping the paint off, I see there is white powder (like sea salt) and some pitting in the aluminum...
