In defense of the Mariners Museum
Hi Mark, I know that you were not being critical of the web site, just needing information. I fully understand your frustration. I just wanted you and all to know that, typical of most museums today, they are under budget restraints. That being said, Our guru of all things Chris Craft is no longer t...

Hi Mickey
You have received some REALLY good replies from some expert mechanics and wood workers. I am neither of those but I do love our Sea Skiff. Our Sea Skiff Club is struggling but we are still trying. You might like to go to seaskiffmerchandise@yahoo.com fora place to get your "stuff", burgees, shirts, ...

We don't have one, but if you go to the "Everything Chris Craft" book and look at the photos there, it might help. Sorry I'm not more help. Do you have any printed material or advertising for your boat? One thing to remember is that if Chris Craft ran out of one thing they would grab something else ...

Pre Hartwell.... anyone interested?
FYI, if you plan to attend the New River Air Station boating event the weekend prior to Hartwell, did you know that there is a Lake Hop planned for the days prior to Hartwell? Leaving New River, then to Lake Norman, then to Lake Keowee and then into Hartwell. Talk about a full boating week!!!!!!!! T...

Wooooo Hooooo! other Sea Skiff owners!
We are SO excited about the new group here on the website. We have attempted over the past few years to gather and sustain a group of enthusiasts and I am grateful to The Boat Buzz for their attempt to give us a place of our own for our specific problems and issues. Lets spread the word, it is so im...

Sea Skiffs are wonderful!
No matter the size, a Sea Skiff is a special boat. It is so tough and will take just about anything mother nature can throw. Although we have a 22', we certainly do love those great cruisers too! We need to have a "get-togehter" somewhere central so that we can all gather and share.

What a beauty!
Our son just received a "gift" of an abandoned boat. It turned out to be a Lugar, which (we understand) was modeled after the L&S. Have you heard about those? Any info you could share would be appreciated. The hull is almost identical, different colors. Not as nice of course... LOL. Thanks for posting

Even if you don't, we will gladly keep you on our mailing list, hoping that you find a skiff. If you wish to be on the mailing list, pl...

Jim, CCABC was instrumental in trying to help us stay afloat the last time and I am certain they will support us again. I just need to get info out there and hoping for an interest.
