Can I swap the solid lifters in my 1940 KB's for hydraulic? If so what else would be involved?

Need oil capacity at full mark for later model K's with flat oil pan. I think 1955 or newer. It shouldn't matter what model K just that it have the newer flat lower capacity oil pan and direct 1:1 reverse gear.
