Greetings and welcome aboard. SeaSkiffs don't leak! If they do there is a problem that needs attention. I've worked on quite a few 'Skiffs including my own and I can tell you that the Thiokol that ChrisCraft used is practically bulletproof so if you are getting water inside it's most likely a proble...

There are always things to change when doing an engine swap but when you switch types of fuel the list grows. I'm hoping one of the more experienced gear heads chime in but what comes to mind for me would be things like water pick-ups (larger), exhaust(larger), shafts, struts, props, stuffing boxes(...

The subject of the bleed hole at the top of the siphon loop came up recently in another thread and as Frank says is so very important. As long as the bleed hole is kept clear and the rubber hose that connects the scoop to the siphon tube is in good condition these self bailers work great. Hey Bill, ...

Hi Jeff, You are correct...one line from the oil cooler goes to the hole in the side of the block and the other goes to the rearward side of the T. The front side of the T goes to the oil pressure gauge. The pictures aren't great but you get the idea. Craig http://s4.postimage.org/33r4oj0bo/141.jpg ...

EBuysigns.com My image is 6"high and 36" long (not big enough for an 18' boat, I'm going to re-order in the spring and make the next one 10" x 46"). That increases the price to about $29.00 but still very affordable compared to sign shops. The transaction was very professional and fast, I had my ord...

Gary's right, You're just shooting a straight line from point A to point B regardless of whether anything is level. The line won't arc if the laser is positioned fairly close to the same height off the floor as the stripe location, in other words, you don't want to position the laser so that it's be...

Level down the sides doesn't matter, you're after a straight line. just shoot a laser line from a point at the bow to a point at the stern which of course will be perfectly straight. In the case of the stern, again level doesn't matter, you just need a straight line that appears level with respect t...
