The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club (CCABC) has an extensive collection of online research tools. We are always looking to grow our ability to disseminate information to our members. As more tools and information become available we will be adding them online.
As a new member, one of the first things you should do is go to the My Boats section and insert photos and information about your boat(s). This forms the database that is the Hull Registry. Within the Hull Registry, members can search for boats like theirs or for any model by any manufacturer that another member may have entered. Sometimes you can actually trace the history of a boat as it has passed from one owner to the next.
CCABC encourages members to post pictures of their boat when adding it to the Hull Registry. These could include photos during restoration as well as shots of the boat at shows or just out on the lake being enjoyed. These could well be the inspiration a member needs to get his boat up and running!
A member can search through various categories in the Online Archive for available information on the member’s boat.
A member can also search CCABC’s premiere online forum Boat Buzz. You can access Boat Buzz from the main navigation or by bookmarking the forum. By using key words or phrases members will find topics regarding their boat or for subjects that may have been posted in the past. A member can post a new question or comment on Boat Buzz and anticipate replies from other members, or post a reply to posts by other members.
