fuel tank filler tube and trim ring
I have a 1950 Chris craft riviera and trying to find out what sizes is the filler tube and the trim ring, does anyone know the part number for the trim ring ? I got a trim ring but I think its to big.
Re: fuel tank filler tube and trim ring
The filler tube is 2" Brass pipe. The chrome ring is readily available on e-bay. Or contact Jim Staib at finewoodboats.com. He has everything at reasonable prices.

Here is a pic of the filler tube trim ring. No part numbers on it. Try Van Ness engineering for your engine.

Re: fuel tank filler tube and trim ring
Thanks for the pictures,no help on how to get correct part numbers?
Re: fuel tank filler tube and trim ring
Sorry, I can't help you with part numbers. I know Jim Staib took a sawzall to a Riviera a few years back, hopefully he stripped it of all the parts, and still has some. That trim ring in the above picture is available if you are interested. It needs to be re-chromed.
