Hi All
I just picked up Caprice a month ago. It is getting some minor works (some transport damage unfortunately) and then I hope to have in Sydney Harbour soon. Its my first boat and hope it will go well.
The history of the boat is not entirely clear. I've been told it was made in Italy and have tried to research the hull number without success. Can anyone advise or should I go straight to the Mariners Museum?
thanks! [attachment=0]

Welcome to the Boat Buzz,
The Mariner’s Museum is the place to go for information on your boat. Unfortunately the materials have been put in storage during a renovation and has been for quite some time now. They keep teasing us that the materials will be available soon
. I would try to contact them anyway.

Boats are to be made of wood, otherwise, God would have grown fiberglass trees.

Welcome! And thanks for posting a photo. I thumbed through "The Essential Guide" which was written on the material at the Mariners Museum and it does not show your hull number either. Let us know what the Museum says when they open.
