I just purchased this boat. I do not know the year or model. It has a 283 185hp engine s/n 838458. Can someone help me?

Based on information in The Essential Guide by Jerry Conrad, you boat is a 1966 16' Custom Ski produced from 1962 to 1966. Total hulls produced is 629. A Chris Craft 283, M engine was used in this boat. Good Luck! Post some pictures.

I have 50 photos of an original 1965 16' VUD-16-0098C. Send me a PM if you would like me to send them to you. I have a 1966 18' Cavalier w / 327F waiting for restoration.
