Want to buy a 431 H Lincoln engine

Post by Steve in FL » Wed Jul 30, 2025 8:04 pm

Hello, I have a '62 Holiday 20' which originally came with the 431. It has a perfectly reliable 350 in it now, but I would like to go back to the monster and complicate my life. Preferably the H model with direct drive transmission. All conditions considered as I can rebuild it as long as it's not a seized brick. Thanks very much. Steve

Hey Steve, I just brought hone a 63 Holiday with a 431H. The boat is barnwood, just want some of the hardware. I was hoping to find the engine a good home. The seller said it turns, I haven't tried it out yet. It appears complete. Don't know what transmission is in it yet. The hour meter reads 220. I'm in Washington, not quite next door, but where there's an engine there's a way! If you're interested I'll get that info to you next week. I'll try to add some pics for you. Jeff
