Modern Power with Orginal Floor Shifter

Post by Bsg785 » Wed Apr 10, 2019 8:34 am

I am thinking about repowering my 19 Capri with modern power with a hydraulic transmission but would like to keep the functionality of the original floor shifter. How have others accomplished this and what was used as the detent for the shifter? Thanks.

Thanks, do you happen to know their website address or contact info? I didn’t find anything on google for them.

Yours has the floor shift and mechanical transmission. Hydraulic gears shift a lot easier. When using a hydraulic gear the shifter weighs so much it will move when hitting a wave and go directly from forward to reverse. A detent stops that.
