Wanna add a temp gauge on my '59 Sportsman K motor--got gauge, need sending unit--will GM 12v work? Threaded hole in R front of head--would this port work for sending unit? Thanks, Foz

I would think it would work if your electrical system is 12 volt.

I'd send the gauge to Dale at www.ccgauges.com and have him match them. Best way to make it work right.
