Keen board?
On a '62 Connie, what is the right term for the teak wood that the hatch and mooring bitt are mounted on?

Re: Keen board?
I guess it is the King Plank. My guy at the boat yard has a thick accent. I kept repeating keen to him and he continued confirming. Once I thought he was telling me about a Queen Bee Island and it was Quinby Island. I'll have to adjust my filters. When I bought the boat, the strips along the plank covering the canvas were missing. The canvas has retreated over 1/2" so I made 3/4" round mahogany strips the same height as the plank to cover the canvas.
