'59 Chris Craft Continental rear side trim pieces

Post by gallagh59 » Sat Feb 15, 2014 3:31 pm

Does anyone know where I can get the side (rear) trim pieces for a '59 Continental? They are kind of triangular in shape and the boot stripe runs at a 45 degree angle from the waterline to the deck. Does anyone know the gauge of the steel? I can have some made up if I cannot find originals. Many Thanks!

It is likely the same as the cutwater and transom bands on other models. Chris craft spec'd these at 1/16" on pre war. I can't confirm Post war right now but I'm sure you will get a response at some point. If not you might want to check the ACBS directory for other owners of your model.

Not 100% sure which piece you are looking for? What size Continental? :?

Visual is big for me.
