Gold anodized dash panel

Post by OBie » Thu Nov 07, 2013 8:26 am

I have a 18ft 1959 CC Continental. Someone painted the dash panel black. Does anyone have a source for getting this panel redone . ( gold anodized )

If it is the same as the 1959 Sportsman, Paul Cundiff at Woodies Restoration in Kentucky can make you a new one.

Correct. Paul had a die made specifically to reproduce these dash panels.

If you just need it re anodized try
http://www.rjmetalfinishing.com/
I have black anodizing done there and it looks great.
The process is not very expensive. They are located just outside of Buffalo, NY.

Just got mine back from being re-anodized and it looks wonderful. I had it done through McNichols Polishing & Anodizing in Redford, MI. Turn around time was about two weeks and cost about $100.00. I would recommend them to anyone interested.
