Strut cross reference numbers

Post by Tom Gruenauer » Tue Oct 16, 2012 8:44 am

Most strut casting numbers are 4 digits, some look like this 04-22-69913 does anyone know of a cross reference? The "shop drawing" listed the strut as
04.22.69913 and I'm looking for one of these for my 1966 CC.

The multi digit number is the IBM part number system chris craft went to in the late 50's. jim staib might be able to cross it back to the older number if it was used on earlier boats. Exactly what model do you have?
