Vinyl Covered foredeck on 1963 30 ft Connie
I bought her this summer up on the Saint Lawrence near Clayton where she has spent her life. She has great bones but needs cosmetics. Totally orginial I want to "freshin" the deck and cabin top. I don't want to screw up so I am looking for advice on how best to accomplish that project. I hope the photos upload correctly Any assistance is appreciated.

A few vinyl suppliers make a vinyl "Cabin topping" which is sold a fair number of places. Sadly, it is not as heavy as the old vinyl, but it is essentially the same product. I used it for cabin tops, and I am doing my decks next.

some guys have found heavier goods by using tonneau cover material for pickups trucks...lot of sample available and some quite close to the nautolex of old......might be worth a try?

What about skipping vinyl and go for epoxi and a polyurthane paint?

BTW, if your deck isn't ripped, and just seems very dirty... try Starbrite nonskid deck cleaner. Works beautifully.
