Jet Speed Varnish

Post by evansjw44 » Fri Jun 19, 2015 8:27 pm

I was caught off guard. I can't get Interlux 100 Jet Speed varnish any more. I have used it for years to do "build" coats. I could do two Jet Speed coats a day. So does anyone have a secret stash of Interlux 100? What are you other finishers for build coats?

I've had great results with Epiphanes Gloss Clear. No sanding between coats if re-coated w/in 72 hours and can be re-coated in 24 hours. Sand final coats and top coat with Epiphanes.

I've used Sanpaco
Clear Sealer
Part #: 2260 MUST have UV protectant over it

Clear Sealer is a fast drying sealer designed to create a deep multicoat look in a very short time. Apply 4-5 coats a day and sand w| 320 to achieve ultra smooth surface for applying Spar Varnish

Try Awlspar 3131....If you have a long day...Ive put on 3 coats before. Most of my brightwork is done with Awlspar, then top coating of Epifanes.
