Interior bilge paint

Post by Peter McBratney » Sat Jul 10, 2010 11:28 pm

Can anyone tell me the type of paint used to coat all the unseen bits inside on my 1961 Capri 19ft. I have the hull card and this says Mahogany Bilge Paint. What do you use these days, enamel, lacquer or acrylic based paints

The boat is currently being rebuilt (quite a long project) in Adelaide, South Australia.

Thanks

Peter

Peter,
I am not sure of the properties but Sandusky Paint Co. is a company who supplies the mahogany bilge paint.

Peter;

I personally like the product that Classic Boat Connection sells for bilge paint.
