Blond deck stain
Have '56 Continental that I'm planning to refinish deck. Has the "blond" portion on deck and gunnels. What is procedure for re-finishing that portion of deck? Is there a blond stain? Thanks

Re: Blond deck stain
We always just bleached, applied natural filler stain, then seal and varnish. To the best of my knowledge,
Chris Craft did not offer "blonde" stain. We would tint if repairing and new finish needed to match older finish.

If you are a Danenberg devotee he recommends a "recipe" of 8 parts natural filler stain with 1 part Minwax Golden Oak.

Mike Mayer at Lake Oswego Boat Co. has the correct stain you need.
