I hear that they are going to discontinue Number one . Has any one used blue water marine paints Super gloss white ?? If so how has it worked ?? Ebay has it for 32dollars a gallon.I have the 46ft conny to paint. Also has any one heard of captain jacks marine varnish and or tried it . Captain jacks is $100 a gallon on ebay.
I use Interlux #1 but not for hull paint. My hull just isn't fair enough to withstand gloss paint. I use Interlux 220 semi-gloss. I have some hoarded away. I also have Interlux 300 Silux gloss white which I like better than #1. I paint the hull every four or five years. I have Interlux 282 gray stached. I use a local paint supplier for other colors and I'd say his pain is better than Interlux in some ways.
