Anyone have, or know the source for, an MCL fuel pump? Also, does anyone know the part number or other information? Thanks!

MCL Fuel Pump

Post by Bill Ward » Wed Jul 19, 2006 10:21 pm

Hi Roger, just ordered a rebuild kit for my 1955 AC Delco fuel pump from "[email protected]", Their phone number is (781) 335-8860. Price was $24.95 plus shipping of $9.95. Haven't got it yet, but they sure seem to know what their doing.
Also called Arthur Gould Rebuilders, (631) 269-0093. They don't sell rebuild kits but would recondition my pump for about $85.00 plus shipping.
I think both sell fuel pumps that they have rebuilt. Worth a try!
Hope this helps!

Hi Bill -- Thanks -- I'll give them a try. The MCL fuel pump is different from the MBL type, I understand. I don't have one to rebuild, but maybe they have one. Thanks again.

Roger,
The MCL pump has a larger diaphram and 1/4"NPT fuel fittings. I'll look to see if i have one.

Thanks DrRot
-- I think that pump also has a 90 degree mounting position so as to clear the first carburetor. Let me know if you find one. -- Roger
