Zenith float adjustment

Have a Zenith 263M carb on a KL motor. What is float setting and how is it measured?

"jim dandy to the rescue" as per usual. Reminds me of the two old carpenter buddies of mine that got together to build a final house as partners rather than competitors. Bruce, the perfectionist, was measuring while Royce the "get er done" type was cutting. Bruce calls down from the ladder, "ok Royce that is 44 and 15/16 ths".….to which ole Royce yelled back "Hell Bruce, I ain't been able to SEE less than a 1/4 for ten years1" John in Va.
