Looking for Engine History on the ML in my 1936 19’ Runabout

I’m trying to source the history on the ML engine that is installed in my 1936 19’ Runabout Double Cockpit Forward. The original M1 engine that my boat was delivered with was siezed up when the previous owner bought it in 1992 so he installed an ML. Here is the engine tag:

Is there an engine registry or a database that tracks the engine numbers and the boats into which they were installed from the factory? I’m curious as to the history on the engine and knowing what boat it was originally installed in, or at least what years and what series of boats the ML would likely to have been installed in. I wasn’t able to dig anything useful up in my forum or internet searches so I’m hoping you guys can enlighten me! TIA for any help on this :)

The Mariners Museum has a Master engine log. Tells what hull each engine was originally installed in.

According to the Master Engine Log that I have,
ML-79198 was originally installed in Hull# U-22-1747, a 22ft Sportsman
with a recorded date of 3-19-51
