KFL Chris Craft engine

Post by jlgsail » Sat Mar 25, 2017 11:55 am

Thank you for the past replies on restoring my engine.
I live in Los Angeles and I am working on the hull of a 1951 CC Riviera, The engine is on a rolling stand and is in need of a total overhaul. I have gone to a few local machine shops but have not found one that is real knowledgeable on these engines. Would like to find someone in the So. Calif. area of course but I am willing to go out farther.Any and all references would be appreciated.

I would suggest giving Tom a call Harpurs Marine Engines in Wilmington 310-830-0693
He has many years of experience in rebuilding the Chris Craft flathead engines.
