Our 1956 23' Continental has what appears to be an old prop that has been reworked numerous times. I am thinking that a 'new' replacement might be in order. The boat is powered with a 175 Hercules. Does anyone know where I can find the specifications for the correct propeller?

Re: Prop Size?
The original prop is listed on your Hull Card. If you don't have it call Jim at finewoodboats.com or go on his website I believe he has pages matching props with boats based on the year.

Henry H. Smith Company Inc.
Bill Smith is FANTASTIC. His company, when I dealt with him four years ago, has records of Chris Craft going back at least to my 1929 CC. He looked up my boat and told me which prop the boat was shipped with and that they later revised the prop size for better performance two years later. Also, old props are fine and easily restored back to exact specifications. They can take a worn out prop and bring it back to size, pitch and most importantly balance. Or, you can buy a new one if you wish but have faith in restoring your original. Bill can not advertise because he does the restoration for just about everybody in the book and the company goes back 100 years. He would upset his business customers (everybody) if he advertised. Just another option. I posted a picture of his business card.
