Fuel Water Separator

Post by mbigpops » Mon Dec 05, 2016 8:05 am

I did all of my winterizing this fall and recently realized that I did not address the fuel water separator.

I am not concerned about it freezing or anything - just wondering when and if I should replace the cartridge. This was my first season and I burned about 10 gallons of fuel and have no idea how often the cartridge needs to be replaced.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheap enough to change is seasonally anyway.......look at the old fuel when you dump it.....that should tell you what is going on in the tank and lines..... at only ten gallons through it....I would inspect it and reattach it, now ...and Go Boating...next year
