Correct Loom for 1948

Any suggestions where I can source the correct replacement wiring loom for a 1948 cc 17 foot deluxe runabout?

It's not something you can buy off the shelf. Has to be custom made. I talked with Fred at www.hartelectric.net and he said they could make them.

Are you looking for the wire covering (loom) or a complete wiring kit? If you need the wire covering I would check out
http://www.restorationstuff.com/index.html They have the black cloth in many sizes.

Hello Jim and Tom - Thanks for both of your inputs. Just the information I was hoping to receive. Much appreciated. Actual a friend of mine suggested Rhode Island Wiring and I believe they also have the correct loom. I will let you know when it arrives. Again thanks.

See if this helps you. I documented the wiring when I restored my 48 17' deluxe a few years ago.
Restoration Supply will have the black asphalt laden cloth braided wire loom.
Always buy more than you need!
