19' Capri of the past and 20' Lancer CC now

Similar lines and both very striking.

What do these Chris Craft's of different generations have in common and what sets them apart?

If it was your world, what would you have Chris Craft build you now?

My kids are huge fans of the 2012 Launch 22. For a closed bow glass boat, I love the silver bullet 20. I am not sure there is anything I would change other than the price tags, and obviously they are high for good reasons.

It would be great if they built something like that today w/ an inboard, or maybe at least a V-drive. I am not big fan of IO's :x .
Boats are to be made of wood, otherwise, God would have grown fiberglass trees.

I love the Lancer GT Concept from a couple years ago. This is the inspiration for my restoration, since the red nautolex is no longer available.

I think the silver bullet is nice as well, just love the red/tan combo.

A good friend went to the Indianapolis Boat Show this winter and saw a 25' Launch and called me to say he was in love. He just couldn't get past the 6 figure price tag. But said it was clearly the nicest boat in the show by a longshot.

That Lancer GT is really cool!!!

I too wish they would consider a V-drive or a straight drive.

i think they have some great styles

The speed penalty of an inboard configuration means they won't sell well outside the dedicated ski and wakeboard market. I don't see CC getting into or having success in that niche so no joy for inboard fans.

So I'm heading to the Chris-Craft dealers annual meeting in Florida in July.

I've been promised a ride and photo shoot in any of their new 2013 models.

What should I focus on?

What would the Classic Chris-Craft enthusiast want to see and read about in a future issue of the Brass Bell?

Yes, I will beg for an inboard model... :D
