What did I buy????
I saw this on e-bay and for a few hundred bucks couldn't resist. I haven't picked it up yet, so I was hoping someone could help me identify which kit model it is. The seller shows some of the original paperwork but neither picture looks like the boat. He claims it is 14'. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: What did I buy????
The Chris Craft Kit boats are always tough to positively identify as the factory did not use hull numbers for this series. They also offered custom upgrades such as mahogany decks for a few extra dollars making identifying challenging. If you can get a copy of The Essential Chris Craft Guide by Jerry Conrad, there is a section on the kit boats with pictures. 14 foot was one of the lengths Chris Craft offered.

Looking at the Essential Guide: If it is 14' it it looks a lot like the Runabout Deluxe offered between 1950 - 1954. The picture shows 3 seats, but that could be easily altered.

Re: What did I buy????
Troy, I think you may be correct. The beam will tell, as that model seems to be a bit wider then most of the others. I'm picking it up Friday and will post some better pictures. Thanks Ed
