Building a motor box and having no luck finding marine plywood. Is there a good substitute?

Tried L. L. Johnson in Charlotte Michigan?

Are you looking to varnish it or cover it in upholstery?

If you are going to paint or upholster the motor box you can buy 1088 marine grade plywood at Public Lumber on Seven Mile Rd. in Detroit. They won't have a mahogany veneer but carry other veneers.

Menards carries Marine. No vaneer. Bought sheet to use as rear seat base and motor box cover. Bought sheet of vaneer at L.L. Johnson.
