Exhaust holes in '59 Continental 18'6"

Post by gallagh59 » Sun Apr 22, 2018 12:44 pm

I'm getting ready to drill the exhaust holes in the new transom of my '59 Continental. I notice that the chrome trim rings (outside) fit up under the water molding and there are small indentations where they fit. If I use the exact former locations my exhaust holes will be a bit offside on the port side. Any specifications or recommendations on this? Thanks.

' Exact Former Locations' ?
The Factory understood where "plumbing-pipe" Linkages might throw-off design-lines?

The "Workers" were not imbued with design parameters?

They were NOT the perfection you seek?
