I know it is the dead of winter but I was thinking about getting the roamer going in the spring . The gas tanks are emptied , the engines have been pickled when it was put up for storage so that part shouldn't be an issue . What I am worried about is the boat has not seen water in 8 years . I planned on doing a full tune up , gas filters , oil changes , convert to electronic ignition If it has not already been done . The boat has been covered and inside for the duration . I am wondering what else I should prior to start up of the engines and gen set. Any advice would be appretiated

If the hull was stored with water in the bilge.....you have rust problems, have a welding specialist check it.

There are some good threads out there on bringing boats back to life.

The zinc taken out of the oil is a relatively new thing.

Good luck!

PS: Do anything Doug P suggests you do.
