Who is going to Clayton this weekend?

Post by Mark Christensen » Wed Jul 28, 2010 9:00 am

I'm considering heading up to Clayton this weekend. It's a 7 hour drive for me, and I have no lodging, so I'm still debating. Anyone else going?

I'll be there! :D For me, it's just a 2hr. ride. I would still go if it were 7hrs. considering what you get to see. I'm sure there aren't any local rooms available so you would have to drive awhile.
Boats are to be made of wood, otherwise, God would have grown fiberglass trees.

I'm heading up. It's 6hrs for me but a great show and well worth it.

It's easy to get a room in Watertown, NY than its about a 45min drive up to Clayton. Pleanty of hotels in Watertown if you go to any of the travel sites.

When we used to regularly go to this show we would always stay in Gananoque, Canada. The exchange rate made this a great place to stay.

I'm there. Or should I say, I am here?

Arrived in the dark. Can't see anything. Will have to wait until morning.

Pics soon.

I considered renting a little popup camper and doing it that way. But if watertown is that close, i might just do that.

I'm sitting here in the office while all of you get to be in the sun on the docks, and previewing all the boats. I'm hauling across state about 330 today to get there. Just gotta miss NYC traffic somehow.
