I know this is off CC topic but I've always wondered about the Bond film Live and Let Die and the boat chase.
I'm not talking about the record jump with the outboard but rather the second boat Bond jumps in and continues the chase.
The other day I just had to figure it out so after about 30 min on Google I finally found it. This all started because of my fascination with the XK-18 Jet.
Here is what it looks to be, a 1972 Glastron CV-19SS Jet. Just a very cool looking boat.
Honestly if I ever had a chance to get my hands on one of these I think I would seriously consider hiding it from my wife...
Looks like they made them in 1972 and 1973. Check out the 21' as well.
Some might think this ugly but you got to appreciate the style for the era.

Here is the link to the chase.
What is a crime is the sound mixer made the boats sound like outboards.

Well then I would qualify, heck, I'm restoring a basket case Lancer now. Maybe I could install a third motor in my 38' Commander Express where the generator is now, it could power a non directional jet drive just for additional pushing. (nervously typing now).....I could tell Janet it is the new generator?

I might have a jet unit for you Paul. I currently have 3 Buehler pumps, 2 hulls, one of which still floats, and no running engines.
I figure one '62 jet boat is enough, so I could spare a few pieces when I scrap the other (the non Chris Craft hull) and I could sell you a period correct jet unit with no steering gear.
