Folding Helm Seats
The seats on my '64 Cutlass were shot, interior metal rusted out. (See the attached photos) So I discarded them after, fortunately, keeping the hardware. I can't find suitable replacements. I am now thinking that it would not be too difficult to duplicate them, if I had their dimensions. Does any one have these seats? If so, could they measure them and sent me the dimensions?

Re: Folding Helm Seats
I never received any replies to my posting, so I estimated the size, making the seats a little narrower so I could squeeze by the engine box. Attach are photos of the final result. I made the plywood frames and Holly of Holly's Custom Canvas and Upholstery, Mooresville, IN did a great job on the vinyl. It all worked out and the seats are better than original (true marine grade). If anyone is thinking about doing the same thing, I would be happy to share what knowledge I gained in the process.
