I think (questionable) it was white diamond shaped.

This is what I pulled out of a very original 1939 19' barrelback.
The bottom picture on your page of rubber matting was the closest.

Thats what the front mat in the one I did looked like. I got samples of both. While the wide rib matched in texture the ribs and spacing is wider. The flat top rib was almost identical in the widths and spacing of the original.Brian Robinson wrote:_
