screws used in ceiling boards that extend into engine bay

Post by [email protected] » Tue Sep 03, 2024 6:29 pm

I have a 1939 barrel back. I have been informed by a judge that the chrome plated screws in my ceiling boards should not be chrome plated in the engine bay - rather just bronze slotted oval #6. I'm only talking about the single row in the engine bay, not the rest of them. Has anyone else heard of this? I would like to get further insights before making any changes...
