1977 Correct Engine Paint

Post by dave tuttle » Thu Oct 29, 2015 9:47 pm

Two part question 1) What is the correct (blue) engine paint for my 1977 Chris Craft Super Sport with a 305 - K/225 HP Inboard? 2) Where can this correct paint be purchased? Thanks for the help.

there is a good article in the brass bell about 5 years ago or so that covers the proper engine paint colors for newer cc engines, with suggested sellers, as I recall.

Jim Staib at finewoodboats.com has the Chris-Craft V8 blue you want "Marine Finish" in aerosol cans. Unless it is a Crusader, which is a different blue

Thanks Brian and Don - much appreciated. I will contact Jim as I have purchased several other other items from his inventory. Dave.
