X-19S OR 22S production

If it doesn't pertain to metal, fiberglass, wire or fabric—but it is about classic fiberglass Chris-Crafts, ask your question or give your advice here.

Looks like Chris-Craft produced 276) XK-19's between 1970 and 1975. There were 230) XK-22's between 1971 and 1976, then 20 more XK-22 6.9 Meter built in 1976. They're close but slightly fewer 22's than 19's.

Al

P.S. One more note: The first 75) XK19's were equipped with V-Drive and a 327Q engine.

This number didn't count the italian product, sale as commander, if we take my commander ss we can expect that there is 35 hull made in italy in 1971...

The 19' Commander preceded the XK boats by one year, only made in 1969 under the Commander name, 90 were built with V-drive, 15 got the Transdrive. A buddy of mine has Transdrive #1.

In addition, yes indeed, the 19-foot hull was manufactured in Italy under the watchful eye of Herb Pocklington. There are apparently no existing records of how many were built there, but I do know they were marketed (and sold)throughout Europe (as were many fiberglass Chris Craft models from the US, as well as some designs that were only sold in Europe).
