Never saw one of these before, cool!

If it doesn't pertain to metal, fiberglass, wire or fabric—but it is about classic fiberglass Chris-Crafts, ask your question or give your advice here.

Boy that is an odd one Brett. A XL175 Express Cruiser built from 1963-1966

112 built according to the Essential Guide. It's a Blue Bomb with a cabin!

Bil, or somebody- please capture the images from the craigslist ad so that we can keep them. I'm using a freinds computer here in my new temporary digs and I don't want to put my pictures on his computer.

FYI guys- This "blue Bomb" cabin cruiser is down to $1000 on CL today here in Texas.

Also, there is a maroon XK 19 in need of restoration for $3500.

As Paul Pletcher says- "So many boats, so little time (and money)!"

In my opinion anybody who DOES NOT buy an XK-19 for that kind of money needs a serious head check.

Can you post a link? There is an XK out on several sites that is a complete scam. So beware.

I saw a listing for one in Dallas but it has been removed.

There was an 1970 XK in the Dallas area on Craigslist for less than $2K recently. The guy quickly found out that the boat was probably worth a lot more and was trying to sell at a higher price. Very rough shape though.

I did talk to the seller but something didn't seem quite right with his story. After soem probing, he claimed that he got the boat and trailer for $100 and was trying to make a profit. Again, he supposedly didn't know what he had.

The last I heard, it went to a gentleman in Lewisville, TX that already owns at least one XK. If this is the case, another classic has been saved. Isn't that what it's all about?
