Rubber flooring

Gentlemen, what is the original rubber flooring that was used on 1941 chriscraft barrelbacks,and who has such material. Thanks Jake

I believe it is the so-called "packard" rubber. there are flat areas and then a repetitive pattern of ribs followed by another flat area, etc. Restoration Supply Co., among others, carries it. called wide rib rubber. held down by a few screws with finishing washers. One of the restorers should be able to post a picture of where the screws go. ribs run from side to side.

I'm pretty sure by 1941 they were using white pyramid.

well that may be. cc got sort of goofy there for a while with odd deck stripe colors, etc.

Look for example at the lapkin foto in this last sunday's (aug. 10, '19 )woody boater main shot. it shows the cracked ice instrument panel, 5 spoke steering wheel, and the traditional "packard" flooring. not sure when that boat was built? is there a shop memo that delineates the change, and did the change last or was it dropped like the orange deck seams? someone out there may have a definitive answer. I certainly dont claim any expertise on these.
