Argentine Runabout....bought it..

Winterizing? Summerizing? Covering? Trailering? If it is about a boat out of water put it here.

Ok all you helpful friends that urged ME to buy the Argentine 16 footer with the flathead V8...after I posted the Ebay number hoping one of YOU would buy it....
I bought it.
Now I need some of you folks to tell me WHAT is is I bought...all I know is that it is very cool...and very well made...

would post the pix if I could find a twelve year old that is not gaming or texting at this time of night...
I am clueless as to how....??

Looks like you bought another thing to keep you busy.I know you have plenty of idle time,so you now won't have to worry about not having anything to do.

Nice! Was it semi local? When do I get to come over and take a ride? Let me know if you need some varnish done on her!

You can open an Argentine chapter of the ACBS. The Argentine classic boat sosiety.. Have your own rules. You can now win your class at any show. just think of the possibilities.

Yesterday I hooked up the battery and she started right up running off a water hose..that flathead it really neat.

This will be a winter project. I spoke to the previous owner about the provenience of this boat and of course Matt did a story on it back in Dec. of 2010...the fellow found this boat in the ANDES!!

May need to divest of one of my two topknotch whirlwinds...too many boats!

Could bring her to the Reedville event on land maybe.

I ride in them too. I still have yet to find that magic number of boats that absolutely guarantees that at least one will always be working when you want to go boating. Therefore, there is always a benefit to having more boats and no such thing as too many.
