Board Phone Meeting September 16, 2015

5:00 PM EST

The meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM by President Jim Frechette

All Board members present except for Bill Baldwin

First point of discussion was the presentation of a budget for the Club which was drawn up by VP Al Benton. This was the first budget the Club has ever had and many thanks to Al for putting it together. There was some discussion over a few small points but the overall budget was accepted by the Board.

Second point of discussion was regarding the Club website. There was full agreement that the site is overdue for an update and overall freshening. Paul Harrison is looking into two website designers. One is the firm that gave us an estimate last Spring (Michael Hesek) and the other is our own Catalyst Communications who designs our Brass Bell and handles many other duties for us. The Board agreed to budget $15,000 for this process and Paul will report back with a preliminary look at these providers.

Third point of discussion was the idea of holding a general membership meeting during the show in Tavares. It was agreed that because this has become a tradition and is the only time that many Board members and regular members are in the same place at one time, a meeting will be held. Details will be announced in the next Brass Bell to be mailed approximately December 1, 2015.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 PM
